Technical Communications

Yes, I know I am greatly behind on my postings about my WGU classes. I’ve changed jobs a couple of times, worked for some horrible people, but I think things (professionally) are starting to turn around, and some of that could just be my attitude.

I won’t be bothering to try and write a catch-up post, because I’m not even sure where to start and I’m just not going to do it. Sorry. Deal with it.

I just completed Technical Communication – C768, and it was very unpleasant. A good portion of the class was writing part of a response to an RFP. I can honestly say that the only thing I have learned from this class is that RFPs are horrible, and if I ever have to deal with them again, I will just hire a professional RFP tech writer to deal with it.

Seriously, horrible. Not hard, just use Grammarly… but it’s just nit-picky and a serious level of stupid. Props to people to like RFPs and are good at responding to them… I’ll stick with doing Sysadmin and Cyber-security work.

The only thing worse about finishing up Tech Comm, is now I am back to my old friend Data Management – Applications – C170. Yes, I am still working on the dirty rotten SQL Course. I need to finish it by the end of August. FML.
