E L Frederick, MCSE, CISSP
I have been working in Information Technology since 1994. I started my career out at Packard Bell/NEC in Magna, Utah troubleshooting computers over the phone. Within a year I was moved up to second level “Technical Help eXpert” support, assisting the technicians who were speaking with the customers over the phone. within another year, I was moved to the training department where I instructed our new hires on PC Troubleshooting and the core of knowledge needed to pass the CompTIA A+ Certification.
Since Packard Bell, I have continued working in Information Technology as a System Administrator.
Over the past twenty-four years, I gained certification as a Microsoft Certified System Engineer in both NT4 and in Windows Server 2003. I have also passed the CompTIA Security+ exam, and obtained membership as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional with ISC2. I’m currently working as a CyberSecurity Engineer. Beyond what I have done professionally, I’ve also done a bunch of stuff outside of a work environment. I have experience shooting, editing, and producing videos for my wife’s YouTube Channel. For that project, I used Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Photoshop.
I have extensive experience with WordPress, not only on this platform but also with stand-alone copies of WordPress hosted on other providers. I ran a successful political blog (1995-2000) for a number of years before marrying my current wife.
